GSM cards (From Cellplus)
Perfect condition= Without defects, Fine Used = few light scratches, Average Used = few deep scratches or many light scratches.
The prices are for the cards without chip, but for a few of the cards I can also provide the chip seperately the price is beside the chip that is available for sale.
Cards with the price in Red means that there are only 1 or 2 of this available
I have been unable to get the number issued of each card, I was told this information is confidential, but I think it is about 10 000 for each design.
*The 'Complis SIM' card MACS7 came in a pack containing a free Scratch card Rs125, this card has the distinguishing feature of having a code bar printed at the back & the front has a slightly different colour from the other Scratch card Rs125 on sale. The SIM cards are for identification to the network & for connection to the service, not for prepayment of calls & when used the chip is removed from the SIM card. The free Scratch card of Rs125 with code bar at the back can be seen at the remote memory cards page.
Only the first Sim cards for use with gsm prepaid recharges offered a free recharge card (with limited mintage), the others after it all have the free Rs125 calls programmed into the chip.
The chip is removed from the card when in use, for this reason it is nearly impossible to get the card with the chip in used condition. The only way to get the card with the chip attached to the card is to buy one mint.
GSM cards from Emtel
#This was the first GSM SIM card which Emtel issued for the new cellular GSM phone. It is a white card on both sides with no pictures, on the front side is plain white & the back side has the phone number written with a marker, and a tiny logo at a corner.
The SIM cards are for identification to the network & for connection to the service, not for prepayment of calls & when used the chip is removed from the SIM card. For these reasons it is impossible to get the card with the chip in used condition. The only way to get the card with the chip attached to the card is to buy one mint.
Since August 2003 Emtel is selling its sim cards with Rs125 phonecalls in its memory.
